Liverpool’s winger, Mohamed Salah has reflected on the final against Real Madrid in 2018 and spoken about his relationship with Jurgen Klopp.
The Egyptian was speaking in an interview with BT Sports ahead of the final against Real Madrid in Paris on Saturday, May 28th, 2022. According to him, Klopp played a big role in the club winning trophies.
A great manager for all of us. We all have a good relationship with him. He has played a big role in this club winning trophies. He knows how to make everyone around the team happy. Sometimes he makes me angry and he knows that! I want to play every single minute. But I understand.
Salah also spoke about the injury he suffered in the final against Real Madrid at the 2018 UEFA Champions League. According to him, he believed he could have given his best and most likely helped his team to win the game, if he had remained on the pitch.
