Real Madrid set Varane sale demands
Chelsea have been linked with a move for Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane throughout the summer.
The French centre-back is out of contract at the Santiago Bernabeu next season which could tempt Los Blancos into selling.
It was reported that Thomas Tuchel’s men could potentially put together a swap deal in an effort to bring Varane to Stamford Bridge.
However, reports suggest that Real are not interested in swaps and instead want just cash.
Fenerbahce eyeing Malang Sarr
From one French centre-back to another now, except this one could be leaving Stamford Bridge in the near future.
According to Turkish outlet Takvim, Fenerbahce have their eyes on Malang Sarr.
He signed for the Blues on a free transfer just last summer from OGC Nice and was instantly sent out on loan. The defender spent the 2020/21 campaign with FC Porto and is set to return to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Werner not set for move
Whilst Sarr could be set to leave Stamford Bridge, one man who is unlikely to depart the club is Timo Werner.
The German was linked to Real Madrid over recent weeks with Tuchel hoping to strengthen his attack ahead of next season.
However, such a move has been refuted by Werner’s agent, who insists his client is ‘comfortable’ in West London.
